Power System Protection: Part One Online Training

This course will provide an essential introduction to the principles of power system protection.

It will be hosted as online training, split over four mornings. The course covers the role of protection, why it is required, components of protection systems and their principles of operation. It goes on to provide an understanding of basic protection theory, grading principles and fault calculations. The course includes practical exercises and builds a fundamental understanding of protective systems on electrical networks from LV up to 132kV.
