The Australian energy market is fast-moving towards a carbon zero energy future with far greater use of renewable energy and Consumer Energy Resources (CERs) - solar power, electric vehicle, battery storage, etc. This changes the way we generate and use energy, impacting the power flows through our Low Voltage (LV) networks and puts greater pressure on the LV grid.
Distribution Network Service Providers (DNSPs) now face a challenge to ensure that their networks have the capacity to accommodate the scaling up of CERs. This calls for a need to restructure the traditional LV network and prepare it for the nearing energy future.
In this webinar, our head of Net Zero transition Dr David Mills will be sharing how DNSPs in the UK have begun transitioning their LV networks to be future proof.
