EA Technology conducted a comprehensive scan of flexibility projects across New Zealand and internationally, determining focus areas to deliver insights for decision-makers.
This project gathered insights from 98 flexibility projects across New Zealand and globally to support the creation of an interactive digital map for flexibility initiatives.

EA Technology was able to identify around 50 flexibility projects for an initial presentation at an EEA workshop. This session facilitated input from stakeholders and industry partners, who contributed approximately 40 additional projects via a pre-designed ‘data collection form’.
Comprehensive research was required to perform an extensive online review for project information, along with reaching out to several Electricity Distribution Businesses (EDB) requesting for further details. This thorough process allowed further identification of projects following the workshop, particularly in Europe.
We were able to score each project against four key focus areas to better visualise the information collected through RADAR charts for insights.
