Meet Louise Guthrie, our Consultant in Net Zero Transition.

Louise graduated with a MEng in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Strathclyde University. With a passion to solve future energy challenges, she joined the National Grid Ventures Business Development team to work on their Interconnector and CCUS projects. Since Louise joined, she has been working on multiple projects including assessing flexibility availability and understanding the cost of introducing a flexibility market over the next decade to delay capital investment where reasonable. She has also been working with clients to evaluate their historic planned and unplanned outage performance and estimating future fault related outage performance to recommend interventions available that would reduce outage impact on customers. She is currently delivering projects that will enable EA Technology’s customers to understand their asset performance and health to improve the quality of supply to their customers.
