Accomplished Energy and Sustainability professional, Tosin Murele joined EA Technology as a Senior Consultant – Net Zero Transition Team. Tosin has a PhD in Energy and Power from Cranfield University. Prior to joining EA Technology Limited, Tosin worked at TEAM Energy, United Kingdom as an Analytics Consultant, where she formulated and developed carbon reduction strategies for both Public and Private sector organisations in the UK. She also worked as a Utilities and Data Consultant with Accenture UK & Ireland. With a wealth of experience, Tosin has previously conducted research and contributed to the development of decarbonisation pathways and techno-economic analysis for Net Zero Port and Port as an energy concept, for the largest container port in the UK. Tosin also spent over 8 years, working as a Relationship Manager at First City Monument Bank Limited.
Having spent four years as a Researcher at Cranfield University, focusing on models development for the Design and Planning of Energy Supply Chain Networks, at the Energy and Power department of the University. Tosin led the development and formulation of the mathematical frameworks to help Clients understand how to best reduce their carbon emissions within their energy networks.
As an Analytics Consultant with TEAM Energy, Tosin played a key role in working with the business’ customers to understand the best ways to use their energy data and put together Carbon Reduction and Net Zero strategies that will ensure they can optimally and effectively, reach their decarbonisation and business goals. With over fifteen years’ experience working on energy networks and developing models to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduce costs, improve efficiency, and encourage environmental sustainability in energy systems; Tosin is very knowledgeable in Net Zero projects and supporting organisations in decarbonising their processes and operations.
A published researcher, Tosin has written two publications on “Integrating Biomass into Energy Supply Chain Networks”, and “Efficient Planning of Energy Production and Maintenance of Large-scale Combined Heat and Power Plants”. Her expertise within the energy sector and knowledge of decarbonisation means her appointment to EA Technology will reinforce their ability to provide customers with the very best service and knowledge on carbon reduction and net zero strategies”.
