We’re proud to share a major milestone in EA Technology’s sustainability journey.

Our near-term Science Based Targets (SBTs) have now been officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)  - a globally recognised authority that helps organisations align with climate science and the path to Net Zero.

Dave Roberts our CTO said: "Achieving SBTi validation is more than a milestone - it’s a signal of the kind of company we choose to be. Safeguarding society goes beyond the emissions reductions our products deliver for customers; it also means taking responsibility for our own environmental footprint. By committing to science-based targets, we’re pushing ourselves to design smarter, innovate faster, and inspire positive change across our industry and supply chains."

What We’ve Committed To

We have committed to cut operational Scope 1 and 2 emissions in real terms from our 2024 base; and reduce the climate impact of our wider value chain using the SBTi intensity target over the next 5 years

These targets align us with many of our major customers and partners who also operate under SBT commitments - and they reflect our ambition to lead by example across our sector.

How We’ll Get There

We’re taking action across our products, operations and supply chain - from designing lighter, more energy-efficient technologies, to improving the sustainability of our sites, fleet and logistics. These steps will reduce our footprint while helping customers achieve greater efficiency and accelerate their own sustainability goals.

This commitment marks an important step in our broader sustainability journey. We’ll be encouraging our customers, partners and supply chain to join us in adopting science - aligned climate commitments - because meaningful change happens when we all move together.
